From Imported ingredients. The name of this spice blend roughly translates from the Moroccan to mean "top of the shop." I guess what the Moroccans are on about is that this blend is supposed to be the bee's knees of the spice shop. And no doubt it is: after all, it does contain saffron the most expensive spice in the world.* Use this blend as a 'complete' seasoning - no need to add salt or pepper. Ras el hanout works really well with all types of poultry, lamb, beef & even fish.
